In 2002 the Villa Astra (originally Villa Guerra) was carefully renovated with loving attention to every detail, from harmonious colours, rich fabrics and a handsome eclectic blend of charming old elegance and contemporary comfort. It is surrounded by palms, laurels, oaks and a beautiful garden.
Rooms
Guests may choose among six spacious, individually decorated rooms, each with an expansive view of the lovely grounds and the sea. Room colours harmonize softly to create a peaceful ambiance. Restaurant
Our gourmet restaurant features a show-case kitchen, where guests may watch our chef, who uses locally grown, natural, seasonal ingredients to create dishes based upon historical Istrian cuisine. Our restaurant offers three dining rooms inspired by three portraits of the Emperor Franz Joseph I, called: The Austrian Room; The Croatian Room; and The Hungarian Room.
Wellness Area
Enjoy our wellness area, which features Ayurvedic massages, steam bath, silence room, music room and inspiring library. Enjoy our private beach and pier for summer swimming in the sea, and our heated swimming pool from spring to autumn.

We are happy to host business meetings and/or social events for you. We will take care of every detail for you so that you will feel like a guest at your own event.
