Nature’s produce
Thanks to its extraordinary bio-diversity, Kvarner Gulf of Wellbeing boasts natural produce found nowhere else in such flavour and abundance. Its gastronomy is famous for wild asparagus, cherries, particularly large chestnuts called Maruni and - above all - scampi cleansed by the springwaters of Mount Ucka. Each season brings something new.

Excursions
We have prepared interesting guided tours to help you discover the beauty of Istria and Kvarner. We will take you through old towns and stories from their past, show you their beauty off the beaten track .On each excursion you will have opportunity to try local specialties. Hiking
To experience one of the most stunning panoramas in this part of Europe, climb the highest peak of Učka - Vojak (1401 m). Its stone tower offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Adriatic Gulf of Kvarner and its islands, across to the mountains of Gorski Kotar, and over the Istrian peninsula all the way to Venice and the Alps.

Walks
Along the Opatija Riviera winds the coastal promenade orlungomare . 12km long and started more than a century ago. it starts in Volosko and ends in Lovran. It is also called the promenade for "holidays, dreaming, inspiration, reviving memories and nostalgia".
